My work examines the human condition through an interdisciplinary approach encompassing drawing, painting, murals, experimental animation, and vocal performance. Drawing is central to my practice—a vital tool for discovery, thinking, and creative production. It enables me to unravel complex ideas, explore possibilities, and develop the frameworks that underpin my work. Themes of metacognition, anastomosis, and consciousness form the foundation of my creative inquiry. Through these lenses, I investigate the fluidity of memory, history, and identity, crafting poetic visual narratives that challenge conventional interpretations. By deconstructing lived and observed moments, I create emotionally charged works that invite reflection and foster connections between self and otherness.
A turning point in my practice came with the completion of my first commissioned mural, which shifted my focus toward community engagement. This experience deepened my commitment to amplifying diverse narratives and underscored the role of art as a catalyst for cultural memory and collective understanding. Drawing served as the foundation for this mural, translating community voices into a cohesive visual language.
Ultimately, my interdisciplinary approach blends traditional making with experimental processes, creating a unique visual language rooted in shared human experience. Drawing remains the essential thread, grounding my explorations and ensuring their resonance with myself and my audience.
